Sylvia Plath

Sylvia Plath was an American poet, novelist, and short story writer whose confessional work explored themes of depression, identity, and mortality. Her poetry collection Ariel, published posthumously, cemented her literary legacy. She died by suicide in London in 1963 at the age of thirty.
