Patricia Highsmith

Patricia Highsmith (1921–1995) was an American novelist best known for her psychological thrillers, including Strangers on a Train and The Talented Mr. Ripley. She published The Price of Salt in 1952 under the pen name Claire Morgan, only acknowledging her authorship decades later.
