Hilary Mantel

Hilary Mantel (1952–2022) was one of Britain's most celebrated novelists, the first woman to win the Booker Prize twice — for Wolf Hall and its sequel Bring Up the Bodies. Her Cromwell trilogy is considered a landmark achievement in English literary fiction.
