Bram Stoker

Bram Stoker (1847–1912) was an Irish author who worked for most of his adult life as personal assistant to the actor Henry Irving. His 1897 novel Dracula drew on folklore, travel writing, and contemporary anxieties to create the most enduring vampire in literary history.
