André Aciman

André Aciman was born in Alexandria, Egypt and is a professor of comparative literature at the CUNY Graduate Center. His memoir Out of Egypt established him as a lyrical stylist, but it was Call Me By Your Name (2007) that brought him worldwide recognition, later adapted into an acclaimed film.
