Sandra Cisneros

Sandra Cisneros is a Mexican-American poet and novelist born in Chicago in 1954. Her debut, The House on Mango Street, has sold over six million copies and been translated into more than twenty languages. She is a recipient of the National Medal of Arts and a MacArthur Fellow.
