Arkady Martine is a speculative fiction writer and, as Dr. AnnaLinden Weller, a scholar of Byzantine history and urban planning. Her Teixcalaan duology won the Hugo Award for Best Novel. She is known for weaving genuine academic expertise into rich, character-driven SF.
